CS,AGS,AS(CENTRAL),CVP and DS BGTD met CGMT Karnataka Shri P Raghavan and discussed about the frequent failures of GSM services, recent failure of Nortel Switch which has become hinderance in our efforts of sale of GSM products, after effects of GSM made over to BGTD in respect of BTS failures and non attention in respect of sales and markteting at Bangalore. The issues related to poor services of EPBT franchisee especially at Belgaum were also brought to the notice of CGM. CGM told that he would hold the meeting today afternoon and take suitable measures in the matter.GM Admn Shri Chandramouly and DGM Staff Shri Prakash Rao were also present in the meeting.

CS along with CT met Shri Tiwari GM BD o/o CGMT BG and discussed about the POOR RESPONSE OF Franchaisee CORAL TELECOM resulting in migration of our esteemed customers especially at Belgaum and GM assurred of immediate intervention and suitable action in the matter.

CS along with BS Civil and Elect met CE electrical and ensured the appointment and posting order of 7 LDCE passed draftsman to the cadre of JTO civil. CE civil was kind enough to consider the transfer of Com D H Chandrashekaraiah JTO civil from Gulbarga to Bangalore as assured to us. We are thankful for the immediate action of CE civil Shri Mahalingam and EE headquarters Shri Muthukumar.

BANGALORE TELECOM DISTRICT CONFERENCE :: The colorful confernece of SNEA(I) BGTD was held on the 12th Dec 2009 at PGM Office auditorium under the Presidentship of Com Ranganayakulu. The auditorium was jam packed with more than 500 executives. Comrade M S Hiremugdur presented the District Secretary CS report and conveyed thanks to all the members for their support and co-operation extended in his tenure. Shri Shubhendu Ghosh PGM BGTD addressed the gathering in the open session and appriciated the works of SNEA memabers and leaders. Com S B Nagavi CS Karnataka Circle in his address apprised the memebers about the circle level works done by the organisatikon, the CHQ level achievments, need of maintaining unity and also the importance of each executive's role in the compititive era. Today at 1100 hours BSNL Karnataka handed over a Cheque of Rs.54,79,650-00 to Hon Chief Minister Shr B S Yedeurappa towards Chief Mnisters' Flood Relief Fund. The team was led by Shri P Raghavan, CGMT Karnataka accompanied by Shri Chandramouly GM HR and Admn, Shri Prakash Rao DGM Staff along with the Union and association representatiaves, Com S B Nagavi CS SNEA, Com M H Gombi AGS SNEA, Com C K Gundanna CS BSNLEU, H Y Andeli CS AIBSNLEA, Dayal Kumar CS TEPU and Com Girish of BSNLEU.
