We understand that many CDMA BTSs are not functioning OK. In Chickmaglur SSA many CDMA BTSs work with only two sectors and the third sector is faulty in many BTSs for more than 3 months and thousands of subscirbers are deprived of the service belonging to these sectors since then and may migrate. These facts are apprised by our field units and the managment is not able to resolve the issue. Today we do not know wheather it belong to SSA or the CM (consumer mobility ). If in your SSA you have any issue with CDMA please mail to nagavisb@gmail.com so that SNEA would be taking up the issue at circle/CHQ level with the management.
The NEW GSM MSC started functioning. New BTSs of Kodagu and Belgaum are getting commissioned since two days. We request the MS Devopment wing to act swiftly and commission the remaining BTSs atthe earlest.

23-01-2010::CS along with Com Hiremugdur met GM Admn and discussed -
(1) DE Offtg issue- it is likely to be cleared by CGM today
(2) Time bound promotion - for 7 SSAs (Chickmaglur, Belgaum, Mysore, Mangalore, Hassan, Davangere and RTTC MY) file is cleared by CGMT and orders are likely to be issued next week DPC of BGTD in progress
(3) Request transfer to Hubli in the cadre of SDEs- We have requested GM Admn to consider the request transfer to Hubli for existing vacancies. It will be verified and if vacancy exist case will be processed.
(4) Request transfer of DEs- file will be precessed for transfer of 3 DEs transferred on long stay basis.
(5) Sending of eligibility list of JTO to SDE promotion -next week it will be sent
(6) Sending 08-09 APRs of SDEs to Corp Off- Still some APRs are in transit- next week they will be sent.
CS also met DGM inchrge of sports committee Shri Devaraj and registered protest against neglecting union and association representatives in these activities. Functions are held without inviting any representatives. DGM understood the lapse and assured us that in futuare care will be taken in this regard.

21-01-2010::JAYANAGAR BRANCH ANNUAL GB HELD ON 19-01-2010:: Huge gathering of Jayanagar Branch was addressed by AGS, CS, DS BGTD and others. Comrades of Jayanagar expressed their concern of cable damage by private agency and delay in attending OF faults and DSLAMs not working on ring route causing massive dissatification among BB subscribers. Many other issues were discussed. Com Shivabhiraiah, Com Venkatakrishnappa and Com Shankar were elected unanimously as Branch Secretary, President and Treasurer respectively.
21-01-2010::Hubli GSM Failure: We understand that today BGTD has rectified the intermitant fault of STM unit at BG PCM by direct link and eliminating tie arrangements via PCM rooms. 20-01-2010::CS, AGS and CT met CGM Karnataka and protested against the Edvas Project of Cordect WLL and submitted the letter of protest. DS/COB are directed be vigilant about the issue and appraise the contents of GS letter to all members and be prepared for any CHQ call to be implemented. We have also discussed about the GSM related issues. CGM was in full agreement with our informations of our earlier letter and action is being taken to fix the problems of Hubli GSM failure and rectify permanantly. We have brought the SANCHAR SOFT problems and delay in the activation of SIM cards to CGM's notice. CGM told us that from today it is again normalised.
We have also met GM Admn and discussed about the Time Bound Upgradations. We were informed that DPC for 8 SSAs (Chickmaglur, Hubli, Belgaum, Mysore, Mangalore, Hassan, Davangere and RTTC MY) is complete and orders are likely to issued next week. BGTD DPC will start today followed by remaining SSAs. The APRs for 80-09 in r/o SDE to STS promotion are likely to sent within couple of days to Corp Office.

18-01-2010::In case of relieving of JTOs on Rule 8/ Request transfers some SSAs have not obeyed CO Order. Circle Organisation strongly protested this stand in our Informal meeting on 16-01-10 and after CO intervention DK TD had relieved the JTOs on same day. 13-01-2010::CS along with Com Shreedhar ACS and Com Sangameshwar DS TMK met Shri B K Mishra GM STR Bangalore today and discussed regarding harassment on all the staff and executives of STR Tumkur by DE STR Tumkur. We have strongly protested the act. GM had already taken stock of the case and has assured of suitable action in the matter. We have also requested to post minimum required SDEs to Tumkur and other places wherever accute shortage exists.
