CS along with Com Mukundan CP and Com Sureshkumar CT met CGMT Karnataka and protested against keeping of request transfer under abeyance and also highlighted about the delay in calling of PVRs resulting in great hardship to JTO trainees. CGMT ordered for asertaining the details in case of PVRs. GM Admn also present in the meeting assured that the transfer order will be issued next week after reviewing the complaints received from the SSAs. Circle organisation appealed the administration not to penalise the trainees for the delay of the administration in calling of the PVRs.

Consequent on Hon CAT judgement 13 SDEs are being relieved from BGTD to other SSAs (GLB 2, HSN 2, KLR 4, MDI 3, MDY 1 and MR 1).

It is learnt by reliable sources that the Court Case filed by some SDEs in Hon CAT Bangalore against the long stay transfers issued in March 2009 is dismissed today.

Circle Seretary along with Hiremugadur DS BG TD and Sureshkumar Circle Treasurer met GM Admin and discussed the following issues.

(1) Hardship encountered by JTO trainees due to improper handling of the PVR related issues by the circle admininstration and to stop the inconvience caused to the trainees for no fault of the trainees. GM Admn assured to look into the matter and will do favourable decesion in the matter. (2) Non releiving of 6 SDEs by GM Kolar evenafter circle office orders. GM Admn assued to resolve the issue early. (3) To start the process of rule 8 transfers immediately. GM reported that it is being done. (4) Non consideration of reqeust transfers of JTOs to mobile section. GM reported the cases will be examined (5) Releiving of all the transferred SDEs to fill up the shortages at Chickmaglur, Hassan Kolar etc.,. GM assured to once again remind the SSAs.(6) Request transfers of DE adhoc Case of Com Kanulkar (Kolar) and Com Narayan (Shimoga) who have gone on longstay transfer as SDEs and subsequently promoted. GM assued positive action in the matter. (7) Interchange of postings of JTO trainees Case of Com Jaseena K (Mdy) with K Jagath (DK) and Com Sureshkumar (TMK) with Com Purushottam (MDI).

Circle Secretary along with Com Hiremugadur DS BGTD and Com Shridhar SDE Groupgs Malur visited Kolar on 25-7-2009 and met GM Kolar and discussed about the developmental activities and implementation of 100 days programme. CS also referred the issue of non-relieving of six SDEs under transfer to Bangalore.CS also had discussion with the SNEA members at Kolar.

Today the Joint Forum of BGTD led by Comrades R B Joshi, Convenor JF, M S Hiremugadur DS SNEA,R B Puranik DS AIBSNLEA, T S Krishnamurthy DS BSNLEU, Com Prakash DP BSNLEU, Andeli CS AIBSNLEA have protested against BG TD administration and condemned GM Admin BGTD. Hats Off to the Brave Comrades of Data Network Bangalore: On 22-7-2009 the JTOs and SDEs of Data Network Bangalore have very strongly protested against the indifferant attitude of DGM towards our JTOs, undue favour to outsiders and Transfer of two JTOs(P-3) to STR whose services are more importannt in P3 project. Com Nagavi CS SNEA Karnataka visited NOC BG in the afternoon of 22nd and met GM NOC along with Com Mandal and protested against the indifferent attitude of the management. GM NOC assured that the transfer of two JTOs will be cancelled and will take action to solve other issued referred in the discussion. CS had meeting with the JTOs/SDEs and appriciated them for the courage shown against the biased attidude of the management.

CS met Chief Engineer Civil Shri Mahalingam and discussed about the Ph 5.1 works of GSM towers and other staff matters. Considering the long pending request transfer of Com Chandrashekaraiah JTO from Gulbarga to Bangalore.

CS Com Nagavi and CS AIBSNLEA Com Andeli met the marketing GMs of CM ( Consumer Mobility) and CFA (Consumer fixed Acces) and discussed about the details on implementation of Project 'Vijay' and other marketing issues. CS SNEA highlighted (1)the steps to be taken at Belgaum to stop migration of data circuits to private operators. (2) SSAs keeping the fixed mobile telephones (FCT) without utilisation for about more than 6 months for want of guidlines regarding tarrifs etc., (3) Nortel supplied CSC terminals (about 100) not yet being put to utilisation at many SSAs even after supply of more than one year.

CS met GM Admn and persued about the Intra circle request transfers of JTOs. GM informed that file is cleared by GM/CGM. Order is likely to be issued on Monday. We have requested to expedite the process of Rule 8 transfer also.

Some requests are received from JTO trainees for mutual change of postings. Circle organisation has taken up these cases with the administration which will help the trainees as well as the management in avoiding unwarranted request transfers in future. GM Admn agreed to cconsider the genuine cases.

Third bulk lot of JTO trainees from RTTC Mysore will be reporting to differant SSAs on 20-7-2009. For SSAs-51, MSDev-7, STR/STP/T&D-7 and DNW-15 traineees are allotted.

CS also met GM(Admn) in the afternoon and discussed about the progress in respect of JTO transfers. GM admn informed that as per discussion had with our association and as demanded by us the rule 8 transfers registered upto 31-3-2006 will be considered. All the request transfers within Karnataka also will be considered and orders are likely to be issued shortly.

CS Com Nagavi met CGMT Karnataka Shri Raghavan and discussed the following ,

(1) Uniform method and no discrimination in respect of relieving of transferred executives of BGTD/CO/other SSAs.

(2) Updating of SNEA leaders in the ongoing projects like Shikhar/ERP and inviting them for the meetings/presentations

(3) Bifercation of mobile operation wing and attaching it to BGTD in a scientific way such that it will improve the services of GSM in Bangalore since the Association has the fear of its further deterioration if partial/unscientific birfurcation is done. To strengthen the MS(O) infra like staff/convayances such that quick fault attending is ensured.

(4) Considering the Rule 8/intra circle transfers of JTOs and mutual interchange of JTO trainees wherever requests are there.Considering request transfers in the cadre of DEs.

(5) Immediate holding of informal meeting on the agenda submitted by SNEA and discussion on service improvements in Karnataka Circle.

CGMT has assured positive action in all the issues and will give meeting in the next week.

16-07-2009:: Court case on SDE to DE on going DPC: Hon Karnataka CAT has not granted the stay for the present DPC as demanded by applicants in respect of 1966 reversion case. Further hearing fixed on 3-8-09.

12-07-2009:: CS attended the special general body meeting of Davangere SSA on 10-7-2009 and addressed regarding the latest developments in respect of BSNL Developments, SNEAs role in increasing the market share and other service matters. Com Vijaya Kumar Circle vice President, DS Com Chandrashekar also addressed the gathering. Com Narsimhappa DGM Davangere was the guest of honour.

07-07-09:: CS, DS BG TD and AGS Com Gombi of SNEA and CS, DS BG TD of AIBSNLEA attended the meeting held at PGM Office and discussed regarding the re-deployment of staff/executives for the sales and marketing works. By the consistant efforts Circle Organisation was able to retain two more promoted SDEs in Bellary and also considering of two more request transfers ( Com Terdal and Com Badiger )as already published in the web site. The 2nd batch of JTOs trainees will be reporting to field training on 6-7-2009. For KTK circle 42 (SSAs 36 and MS 6) and non-recruiting circle 41 ( DNW/STP/STR) trainees will be likely to be reporting.

Brief Report of Shillong CWC:

Karnataka Circle was represented by CS Com S B Nagavi, AGS Com M H Gombi and five CWC members namely Com D D Shanwad (BM), Com C D Naik (MR), Com R N Pai (SMO), Lokesh (TMK) and Com M S Hiremugadur (BGTD).

The main focus of the CWC was on BSNLs growth and the role of our executives in making every SSA and in turn every circle as profit making units. Critical analysis was done and it is appealed by Com G L Jogi GS to educate all our executives to rise to the accasion and give their best in their duties. Expose the management if it fgails to reciprocate in these tasks. GS has specifaically mentioned the role of SNEA Karnataka in making our circle as propift making one. There was a special mention about the excellant performance of BG TD also in GS report.

Com Nagavi CS Karnataka presented the growth details of different services of the circle and also gave a detailed report of the special efforts taken by karnataka circle in general and BGTD in particular. The efforts of Shri Ghosh PGM Karnataka were explained by CS in respect of service matters and his positive role in the HR management which is the key factor in these achievements. The success of Melas and the pilot project Udhan and Dosti were also touched in his deliberations. CS also explained the sucessful completion of the Phase 4.5 GSM project which is another source of this years revenue. But the scope for improvement of quality of service is the need of hour and CS gave his sugetions in this regard. Com D D Shanwad had presented the working of data circuits, NMS and the need of transperent procedures in the procurement of quality equipments. Com Hiremugadur presented the details of BGTD developments and positive approach of Shri Gosh PGM BGTD by involving the SNEA members in his endevoaur of making BGTD the highiest profit making centre.During the discussion of staff issues CS appealed for posting of more JTOs to Karnataka Circle in the ongoing recruitment, arrangemnt to releive the incoming SDEs from NE circles, regularisation of Officiating JTOs (TTA Promotions).
