Tumkur District Conference: The district conference was held on 28th Nov 2009 at the GM Office Conference hall. DS Com Sangameshwaraiah presented the DS report and thanked the members for their coperation. Com V Mukundan Circle President, Com S B Nagavi Circle Secretary, Com S Shreedhar ACS, Com Venkatagiriyappa COS and Com K N Thyagaraja DS Chickmaglaur attended and addressed the conference. While Com Mukundan explained the achievements of SNEA and its glorious successes so far, Com Nagavi submitted the breif account of the issues settled by the circle organisation and thanked the comrades of Tumkur for their liberal contribution towards the building fund.Com Venkatagiriyappa stressed the need of organisational unity and Com Shreedhar thanked CS for settling all the issues of STR wing.

Com B Madesh SDE Tumkur, Com B G Sangameshwaraiah SDE MS Tumkur and Com S Revanna JTO Tumkur have been unanimously elected as President, District Secretary and Treasurer respectrively for the year 2009-2010.

CEC of Karnatak Circle SNEA held at SNEA Bhavan on 14th and 15th November 2009. Com G L Jogi GS, Vetarn leader Com W Sheshagiri Rao, Com Gandadhar Rao President Pensioners Welfare Assn, Com R Rajan JSS and Com M H Gombi AGS attended and addressed CEC. Com Nagavi CS submitted the report of organisation since last conference. Com V Mukundan briefed organisational activites of Karnataka SNEA. On 10-11-2009 the General Body meeting of Mobile Services Branch is held at NTB Bangalore. Com S B Nagavi CS, Com M H Gombi AGS and Com Hiremugdur DS BG TD attended and addressed. Consequent on making over of the Bangalore MS wing to BG TD it is resolved to bifercate the Branch as BGTD MS Branch as part of BGTD and Mobile Services Division and the following office bearers were unanimously elected.

For Mobile Services Division Com K N Murthy, Com K N Murulidhar and Com M J Rajesh were elected as President, Divisional Secretary and Treasurer respectively.

For BGTD MS Branch Com M C Ramesh, Com C Nagendra and Com G R Vijayakumar were elected as President, Branch Secretary and Treasurer respectively.

Circle organisation congratulates and wishes them all the success.

Com S B Nagavi CS, Com Sureshkumar CT and Com R B Joshi Convenor BGTD Jt Forum met CGMT Karnataka Circle Shri P Raghavan and appraised him of the faulty ZTE Type 1 modems, delay in processing the AMC for repair of faulty (ITI, SRV and Exicom) CLIP instruments and other Broad Band related issues. CGMT gave instructions to concerned officers for immediate action in the matter.GM Adm was also present in the meeting.Earlier we have also met Shri Janardhana Rao GM(O) and appraised the above issues.

CS along with CT and Com Joshi met GM admn Shri Chandramouly in the afternoon and discussed (1) JTO to SDE Officiating orders. GM clarified that all the SDE vacancies (1782) have been filled by regular promotions. We have pleaded that as such Officiating is being given for SDEs in the resultant vacnacies of DE to DGM Offtg, similar action needed to to be taken in case the the resultant vacancies of SDE to DE Offtg. GM finally assured that the DPC process will be done and orders for 100 to 120 JTO to SDE officiating in synchronisation with SDE to DE Offtg orders. (2) Considering the request transfer Case of Com Kannulkar DE Kolar and Com Narayan DE SMO. GM assurred positive action in the matter (3) Considering the request transfer of Com M V Angadi SDE KWR having less than two years of service. GM assured positive action in the matter. (4) Issue of appointment order in case of LDCE passed candidates from Draftsman/Group C to JTO Civil/Electrical. We have protested the indifferant stand taken by Karnatak Circle in this issue and shown the action by other circles.GM assured that orders will be issued immediately.
